Got an insane trade in on my Ram 1500 so picked up a new 2500 with a Cummins. Trailer got a fresh coat of stain and paint. Now just tinkering with a new spare tire mount and some aluminum work. New truck got some fog lights steps and a bed liner and floor mats. For the most part I’ve been hiding at my parents place in Utah to avoid the heat

More sand hollow wheeling. Probably 6-8 day trips so far this year plus trail hero.
Haven’t had any issues and no new body damage this year besides tire grabbing the fender and folding it back but pounded that out and have a new fender I just need to paint.

Nothing really new on the truck. Put some deaver springs under the 63 main. Did some finish aluminum work. New headlights. New grill and bumper. Mainly been using it and having fun. Trucks taken a beaten this year with lots of miles and hasn’t skipped a beat.

Damn man, this truck seems to be performing very well for how much you beat on it. Looks like you have done a great job building it. I wanna see this thing in person at some point.

I was just thinking about this the other day. For the amount of trails I’ve done this year and just overal abuse I’ve put the truck through, I couldn’t be happier. Pretty much hit every big spot on the west coast in the last 8 months with nothing more than a leaky fitting on the transmission cooler and the front 3rd drips every few days. I have no complaints and really happy it works well and doesn’t have any bad handling or issues etc. one day we will get together and wheel.

Well my girlfriend says buying tools gives me joy and I’m good at spending money on old junk I don’t need so I’m making these “hub tools” to help pay for more tools and car parts lol. Something I made for myself but ended up getting a ton of interest from people asking me to make more.

I know Toyotas don’t typically have hard to turn hubs but yukon hubs are notorious for being hard.

They are made from 1 3/4 6061 Aluminum bar stock. They’re roughly 3 inches tall with 2 inches of knurling and a slot big enough to go into the locking hubs and turn.

If anyone else runs hubs and they’re hard to turn and needs one let me know. Or if your Toyota hubs are hard to turn or get frozen in the winter etc, shoot me the measurements and I can make some for Toyota hubs. 600A0FB2-3DB1-4F18-9D50-0ED28487A0E5.jpeg51F87D83-88DF-4408-8FE9-76F805DB20F4.jpeg97823ADD-766F-49E0-ADEF-A49D54EB0166.jpegBAD98108-8903-40BA-8E19-82C94BA9C24D.jpeg
