I don't intend to ever have cabinets like that. Gorgeous as they are, they won't stay clean, and I like plywood anyway. Melamine isn't durable enough for me.

I'm bringing home a truckload of 1/2" plywood this week from our temporary hoardings at work. I'll glue it all together and make up some 1" cabinets for the shop. It desperately needs more space.
They actually stay very clean and wipe down well. Kinda hard to get them so dirty they can’t be cleaned. Probably not as durable as plywood but they hold up extremely well. I’ve always been impressed at the quality and durability of them. The workbench top should be the only piece that should see real abuse.

Gonna save that and watch later.

Edit: nope, decided to watch right away, and as usual, 12 minutes of bullshit, and 1 minute of useful information.

Will buy.

Getting a pretty penny in tax monies back, and my ex sent me a message telling me how much to expect from her tax return for back child support. Decided to splurge and finally get the stuff needed for home alignments.

Should have all this fun stuff coming in a couple weeks.

Nice! Gotta love a sweet tax return and unexpected check from the ex. Just don’t blow it all in one spot :afro:

I've got it planned out and I'm about done spending. Most of it's probably going to my lawyer unfortunately.

A few early birthday gifts.

Tried doing an oil change on the F150 yesterday. What the hell Ford. You make an engine as good as the 3v 4.6, and then you make the oil filter go onto such a dumbfuck place. . . Literal trough system to direct the oil around the engine bay and out to the front of the vehicle.
So I got oil filter pliers.

And I'm doing the SYE and t case rebuild for my sister, so I got a set of a cheapish snapring pliers, since I'll probably need them for the 205 that I'll be getting soon enough.

Speaking of snap ring pliers. I let my brother borrow my Channel Lock snap ring pliers and I'm thinking I'll let him keep them and buy a better set. Last time I used them, there was a stubborn snap ring on my dads johnny joints which caused them to bend the frame a little bit.

Any recommendations for a quality set of snap ring pliers?

Ones that say "Klein Tool Company" on them.

I don't think Klein makes snap ring pliers. Probably check out Knipex Retaining Ring Plier. I don't own them, but they probably pretty sweet. Only issue is they aren't as versatile.

edit: haha I'm too late

Geeze! Those look super nice, but not sure if I need to spend $155 on a set right now. I'll add it to my wish list and pick some up when I get my truck paid off in April.

There's 8 in the set. That's under 20 bucks a piece.

Once you use any Knipex stuff you will never go back to any other brand. They are really that good.

If you are only doing one type of ring you can buy the specific pliers for your needs.

I'll probably just end up with the set. In the long run it's worth it.

I never even heard of Knipex until the first time I met you. Then I used them once and can see the quality in them. I eventually want to get a full knipex plier set to replace the random branded stuff I have now.
