Just your luck with this rideAnd, of course, check engine light comes on on the way home. O2 sensor. Sweet. Gotta fix that. I live in the only emissions mandated place in the state.
was there much rejoicing and peeling out in the street? And, of course, check engine light comes on on the way home. O2 sensor. Sweet. Gotta fix that. I live in the only emissions mandated place in the state.
Didn’t really want to try the patience of the vehicle gods. Although it was fun to drive, especially the roundabout. But I plan to treat that transmission with care as long as I can. And just to annoy me a little more, this thing has two O2 sensors.was there much rejoicing and peeling out in the street?
sooo what's next? Now it’s done. This fix was... challenging. Only four hours to replace a pair of O2 sensors. Sure would have been easier to do this with the front subframe off. The last one finally threw up the white flag with a sensor socket, 1/2”-to-3/8” adapter, universal joint, 4x 1/2” extensions (one of them a wobbler) and an impact gun. Take that!
