Damn straight. A good example would be my twisted leaf spring hangers. Ive had the replacement BAMF hangers for a year now.lmao
Shit it'll be two years soon. I've been giving you shit for a long time about those.

@VernySanders, for coils you can't go wrong with 8 wraps. The are a great happy medium. The OME 861's are good for lots of weight and/or lots of lift. I ran the Jeep JL coils for about a year. Nets about 2" of lift and super soft which can be good or bad depending what your goals are.

You haven't been around long but @Mike_taco4x4 and @4runner DOA lead the class in lazy. The amount of shit those two can put off is truly legendary.

What's your load in the rear? How much lift you looking to get? Got @eimkeith PCK yet?

lmfaooo, So for load in the rear, its absolutely nothing but a coastal bumper. I removed my spare as well. I also don't ever plan on having a tire carrier etc etc etc. I wanna keep the truck light and nimble but have an ass load of flex. Im on bilstein 5100's all the way around and sadly my dumbass bought 4Runner ones and not tundra's. Im under teh impression that ill either snap the rears if my new springs are too high or just straight up need new rears. In the future ill be going kings all around. (Within a years time) Lift, I honestly don't care how much lift I get as long as my ass end stays above the front end. Right now my truck is completely level but thats with a top perch bilstein in front which i intend to actually lower one perch. BUT I have no rear bumper on right now because i've been draggin ass and working on the girlfriends subi so I havent finished the bumper. When I do have the coastal bumper on my truck it looks like the damn springs wanna give out. I might as well have like 600 pounds of top soil in the back lol

Ive heard about the 8 wraps, im not against those! Just harder to find. I think I would be more prone to go with the Jeep JL coils then the OME's. I want soft easy flex that I dont need to purposely add extra weight to obtain if that makes sense?

You guys are all way better than the guys on the T4R forum. Im getting tired of some of these OEM purists on there that have nothing better to do than reference the service manual for every little fucking thing. God forbid people actually do some DIY shit. Im about to go on spectator mode only on that forum before I have to tell someone to shut the fuck up and get myself kicked off LOL. :flipoff:

If you know you won't be carrying much weight and want a lowish ride height then the JL coils are the way to go. Just keep in mind that they don't hold weight well, so if you plan to fluctuate a lot in weight, your ride height will fluctuate a lot too. With stock weight you'll probably get about 3" of lift. With tools and gear it'll probably get you closer to 2"
The 8 wraps are actually pretty easy to find and you can even order OEM replacements online too. The 8 wraps are the best middle ground for weight and lift. With no weight, you'll likely end up with about 4" of lift. With tools and gear you'll end up with about 3.5" of lift. Add a steel bumper and you'll be around 3" or so of lift.
861's are just ridiculous IMO. You gotta be carrying a lot of weight or else you'll be well over 4" of lift.

Okay, I will go with the 8 wraps then lol. I only like to do things once and down the line I wont even have rear coils anyways ill have some sort of coilover setup that's a lot more conducive to the performance I want. This will be the only set of springs I buy. I'll try to find them used, I found some brand new ones online for $180. That seems to be kind of average for new ones.

How do you think the rest of us got here.

lmfao its like that scene on Braveheart "FREEEEEEEEEEEEDOMMMM!!" It was liberating the first time I got on here and I didn't need to watch my mouth like I was back in middle school.

These taillights came in and I have to say these are high quality lights. Any time I see something made in Taiwan I always get a little excited because Taiwanese products in my opinion are far greater quality than Chinese products. These lights are about twice as heavy as the stock OEM lights I replaced. The LED's shine extremely bright, they came with a wiring harness terminated onto an OEM plug and play connector, in addition to this they also came with a rubber grommet like the OEM's to block out any water etc. They took me about five minutes to install ( not a year DOA lmfao ) partly because I have no carpet and already had the bottom trim piece removed from a different job. Ill post pics when I find my damn phone. Prolly forgot it outside in the rain all night. ahhh the devils lettuce. good times.

:beerscheers: cheers to that!! Within reason though, of course. For instance I wouldn't wanna swap coil springs out a bunch of times, i'd rather ask you genius's what works best! haha

8 wraps will be fine for what you want. They might even be a little high for you without a bit of weight. I run 861's with custom King rears. They're high as fuck and hold weight like a champ. I had Superflex in before that and for my wheeling the 861s blow them away.

Once I spray the Lizard Skin, I may design a custom solution for a toolbox mount. Do you have any information on here about your kings?

I just called Ben at Filthy Motorsports and gave him stuff, ride height, and droop numbers. They made the shock to fit that length and valved it for slow speed crawling.

Don’t get him started lol

I'm too tired to tell the story so #fuckking. lol

So I was thinking about it, after watching a Chris Fix video that he recently made about how to remove fart smells from your seats. Its more of a joke but in the video he utilizes a couple PC fans inside the seat foam and this got me thinking about when I used to live in Reno, NV and I sold brand new Nissans. This was like 2015-2017 time period. Anyhow the Murano, Armada and the Maxima all had air conditioned seats up front and they were badass. Ive got them in my 8th gen Maxima and if im driving around with my black leather seats in the sun my back never gets sweaty. When im two tracking or on the dunes, I always have no shirt on and my back gets sweaty on my seats. Too much information I know right. When my brain connected the Chris Fix video to my 8th gen maxima I was like damn. What if I get some PC fans and install them on the front two seats. two fans on the arse and two fans on the back. My sweaty back would be eliminated. Throw in the the A/C vent that points right at my balls and holy hell we've got ourselves a damn Maybach quality A/C system out here.

EDIT: https://www.amazon.com/uphere-3-Pac...d=1&keywords=12v+pc+fan&qid=1588269205&sr=8-3

24 bucks and some slow ass corona virus shipping is all I am away from Maybach quality a/c
