Someone went in dry.
You 1st/3rd genners need to figure this spindle bolt shit out. I'm sick of this crap.

12.9 bolts & red threadlocker properly applied damnitThat's a LBJ bolt in your hand. And I figured it out just fine. From now on the LBJ will be welded to the spindle. I'll carry spindles with new welded LBJ,s. Let's see how often that fails.
Not trail carnage...
checkout this dude who posted on facebook. His rear diff broke while on the highway. Doesn't have a clue and cuts into the housing to expose the carrierView attachment 10917

Ooops! That's just a little fucked up haha
Wow. Wtf did you hit? I nailed a wash out at like 70 mph a couple years ago, caught 2 feet of air, and I only bent a 700 lb coil but my icons were fine otherwise..
Walmart beefed up their speed bumps...
Actually it really wasn't much more than that. Gravel road with some pot holes. Was cruising somewhere around 30-50 mph. I wish it was a cooler story.
Luckily had a homie with some blown out toytechs or something (threaded body bilsteins) near by. I was about 6 hours from home, and this happened leaving our camp spot Saturday morning. Day 1, hour 0, minute 6. Swapped it out on the site of the road, carried on with weekend, and pooped on a mountain.

Jesus. The amount of preload sure as fuck wasn't helping. Haha. Can't tell you how many times I caught air on my icons not paying attention and driving faster than I should have been. Never had that kind of damage.
That’s impressive. Haven’t seen that one yet.Had a Detroit carrier break in half a few years back. View attachment 11628
Eibach 14" coils are rated to a safe preload of 12.5". I'm guessing these are a fair bit beyond that.
I don't know about you guys. I like my 4runner a little more I guess. The Zuk not that's a different story.Took a new line on Gold Mtn. Ended up leaning against a tree and blowing out my rear window. Going to replace it with an aluminum bead rolled panel.

I actually met everyone there that day for the first time. I’ve talked to a few of them (mostly Curtis) but they all ended up being super cool guys to hang out with, which is why I ended up going wheeling with them in the first place.I didn't realize we know so many of the same people. Was funny to see them all in the IG post. Looks like a fun time and fucked up line.
My wife keeps threatening to have us build a crawler or bouncer. I might just have to do that in a year or two when we leave Ohio so we can go after the serious stuff. I give the Tundra a shitload of credit, but there's no way we'd even physically fit on the right side of the tree.
I’m jusr at the point that body damage isn’t a concern as long as function isnt lostI don't know about you guys. I like my 4runner a little more I guess. The Zuk not that's a different story.
