This is a place for all you with our products or those who want our product to come and ask questions and post related content. Bring ideas to the table and for us to post new things we are working on. Basically just some more BS.

So make yourself at home.

Some new things we are working on.
Our Tacoma Topper Rack in conjunction with our new adjustable mounting feet (which will remedy problems with other companies topper racks...) *cough Prinsu Cough*. No more stacking washers using an upside down tent mount or buying the questionable Smitty Built brackets that look like a door hinge.

These feet allow for 1” - 1-1/2” of height in the low orientation and 1-7/8” - 2-5/16” height in the tall orientation. As well as +-17° of angle adjustment. As well as a flat version and a contoured roof version to work on most all styles of roof track/topper combinations.

Also included are M8 and M6 hardware to accommodate the most common track nut thread sizes.

We have tested on Snugtop, Leer, and ARE toppers.

These should be available to order by the end of the day.

As you know, I've never been the type of person to put a roof rack on my rig, but these are looking more and more appealing. I do like the topper racks. Looks damn good on those tacomas with the cab rack. (almost looks like a 4runner now ;))

I definitely will! I've been trying to avoid it for a long time. Now that I have a truck and tow the 4runner to the trails, I don't have quite as much of a need as I did 6 months ago. Still might need one for Dusy Ershim this if I bring the kids this year.

Do you guys rent them out for weekends?;)

Damn! Jealous of a tow rig. It's on our list as we embark on a new project that will need one. Wouldn't be the worst idea. To bad shipping kills on these things, though better than most roofracks being they are not freighted fully assembled.

Hey everyone here on IDPOR, Rocky Mountain Racks is rebranding under the name of Sherpa Equipment Company.

While we have always had big plans for the business, we never expected it to grow the way that it has. We have our loyal customers to thank for that, as well as those who interact and share our stuff on this forum. With this growth, we have always felt limited to making roof rack systems due to a name we established, what seems like so long ago. We are excited to offer new products with the same great team and quality customer service.

As with any company rebrand, we need all the help we can get to spread our new name out to the community.

This transition will not have any impact on current or previous orders. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to reach out to our team at any time.

Thank you,

Alex, Will & Hayden the dudes behind the racks.
