You're looking at June's calendar. Lol The dates are July 11th-14th. The plan is to leave Mammoth at noon then drive to the trailhead and wheel some of it. Your truck will be here and you will be ready.

@AssBurns can you add the dates July 11th-14th to the op you created for us. Thanks
Andy is technically he OP of this thread, but I can make this happen this one time :flipoff:

Vacation is locked in Thursday-Sunday. Gonna start driving up there early Thursday morning

Fucking rad. Just get to Mammoth by noon if you can. It's gonna be a long morning at work for me that day. All I'm going to want to do is leave. Actually that's just like a normal day now that I think about it. Lol

Just from following these dudes I’d say spare belts and hoses, lbj’s, lbj bolts, 2 axles. Then of course all your usual fluids and shit

If your @Hank you bring driveshafts.
If your @Mike_taco4x4 you bring steering rag joints.
If your @AssBurns you bring CV's.
If your @Tetten you bring gear oil.
If your me you bring LBJ's, spindles, tie rods and hope to hell your rig makes it through without needing any of that shit.

Lbjs and lbj bolts aren't an issue after 05. Hoses aren't typically either. Belts, CV axles, and tie rods are what I usually carry regardless where I'm going. I've recently added some caliper bolts and a spare panhard bolt/but. For trips such as Rubicon and dusy, which I won't make either this year, I'll be adding a spare regeared 3rd, driveshaft and spindles.

Thanks for the reminder I need to get my spare drive shaft retubed before this trip. it’s been in the bed of the ford since our last trip on the taco eater waterfall.

Reminds me. I have a nice vibration on mine now. Need to take it to get retubed. How much did you pay for yours?
Any of you have square driveshafts? Rather simple to swap out at the trailhead and very unlikely to damage one.
We drive more than 30mph...

@Tetten took it over to his guy and it was right around $230 for just a retube. last time they had to put a new Ujoint and flange cause it was FUBAR and that was $300.

On dusy more than 30? lol

Yeah from what I've seen retubes usually run about the same for us regardless of the shop, if you've got more things fucked up it adds some to it

My vacation request was approved yesterday. i took Thursday-Monday. Only thing that will stop me is not getting my truck ready.
Cool, I'm liking the idea of starting Thursday after Matt gets up there and getting some miles in before we set up camp, hopefully we'll get far enough ahead we don't see any of the groups friday/Saturday. Just the jeep club that will be coming the opposite way
