The cost of overlanding is realI remember driving off the lot too .. oh where has the time gone
If only I knew how real the struggle is ... im getting ready to order fiberglass fenders front n back .. lower control arms and since Utah isn't strick about emissions im looking at headers and a full exhaustThe cost of overlanding is real
But no skids? Making a mallcrawler? If only I knew how real the struggle is ... im getting ready to order fiberglass fenders front n back .. lower control arms and since Utah isn't strick about emissions im looking at headers and a full exhaust
Also rip the front shocks off pull the springs and clean the shit out of the threads to be able to use adjust them again ... still thinking about pulling the bumpers and getting the re powder coated

Edit: you know dam well I have no idea how to.change the spindle
And keep a deadblow hammer around instead of a sledge in case you need to hit something.Hardest part is getting the spindle off, but it's not terrible. Disconnect lower shock, lower control arm at the spindle, upper control arm at the spindle, 35mm cv nut, tie rod. Swap bearing, repeat in reverse.
I thought thats what it was this whole time, just making it fancierBut no skids? Making a mallcrawler?

I've been banned for that site so many times even my wifi is banned@PermaBan , order new hubs with the bearings pressed in, trust me when you get em off, don't put old parts back on. 04taco4x4 on that other site has an awesome deal and has a slick cnc press adapter so it's perfect. he's an ASE mechanic.
Bruh... We live in SoCal. It rains twice a year and it's low humidity. Don't trip on rust. Especially when the plate is 3/16". It'll take many decades for those to rust out in SoCal.aluminum doesn't rust. huge factor for me. no rattle can, liner powder coat to worry about. especially topside where debris will hold water.
I was saying that for @Notcrow-of-judgement if he was interested because where he is at is rust town.Bruh... We live in SoCal. It rains twice a year and it's low humidity. Don't trip on rust. Especially when the plate is 3/16". It'll take many decades for those to rust out in SoCal.
