But did i dieyou’re ranking up everyday
you’re on a whole new level.
It was like 2 years ago , who would have thought
You should still bleed the brake lines though, either way.you’re ranking up everyday
But did i die
If i dont put myself first no one ever willalways only ever about you huh?
Fun times today. Somehow both caliper bolts passenger side backed out on the tundra. 70mph has never scared me so much.
Soooooo, I put a deposit down so that they can start ordering parts and work on my truck. I won't likely see it for just over a week or maybe even up to two weeks? I still don't have a list of items they're going to be replacing, but definitely redo the head completely (i.e. re-seat the valves, etc), the timing chain and everything that goes with it, and a few other things. I'm lucky I've been saving up money, but some of that money was supposed to go to my Civic as stated earlier. But as @Itaro stated and a few others, do the truck now and save up for the Civic later. The Civic doesn't have all that much that needs to be done to it other than I just want the timing belt replaced is the main thing.
Anyways, the truck I know is going to be BOSS when I get it back. HAHAHAHAHAHA, I wish I could buy the Stage 1 cam from LCE and have them put it in as it is a drop in cam, but slightly modified for better performance over the stock. That would be sweet!!!
I'll keep you guys updated...
Btw, @4runner DOA Danny, again, you were right for me to just take it in. I can do all of that myself minus resurfacing the head, but I just don't have all of the resources and a place to do deeper engine bay work anyways.
As it is, now these F'N neighbors are asking me to work on their shi* because they see me working on my truck and to them it's spectacular, but in all actuality all I was really doing was replacing my radiator and my sway bar end links???!!!
Yeah, I already plan on doing that while the belt gets replaced. Going to have them just do the motor mounts as well. The front mount is "torn" and you can clearly see it. I don't know about the other 3x, but I'm just going to go ahead and get those replaced as well. This won't be until next year, likely.Do the water pump on the civic too. It's right behind the belt. Another one of those might as replace it while you are in there. They are cheap.
1st gen short bed 4x4, sweet lil pickup. you better not part ways with it, ever. After the engine, it's gonna drive like a champ.I had just installed my new radiator like the week before or something like that. Here, I was just replacing my sway bar end links. Plus I was taking off my wheel/tires (my 31 1050s) because I didn't want them edge worn as I still have to redo my alignment.View attachment 26785

I’m not comfortable with your model of vehicle and don’t want to be liable in case something goes wrong
or
Sure my going rate is $35 an hour two hours minimum plus parts of course
unless she’s got a magnificent rack/ass
40 bucks a corner for brakes, 80 if they're drum. Rusted/seized add another 20 per corner. Add another 40 for caliper or disc swaps. Spark plugs, 40 bucks a plug depending on accessibility. Oil changes will cost you 50. You supply the parts. People turn me down pretty quick.
Your prices are low as fuck. Anytime I get hit up for side work, my rate is $250 an hr no matter what it is.
my free time is hard to come by and if you’re going to take me away from what I could be doing, you’re going to make it worth it.
I don't ever plan to part with it.1st gen short bed 4x4, sweet lil pickup. you better not part ways with it, ever. After the engine, it's gonna drive like a champ.
