I had a 50/50 shot. I guessed, incorrectly, that you'd be getting into the Lexus version of the LC. In fact your getting into a Prado. Close cousin to the 4Runner. lol

If the 4 runner had a v8 and manual t-case. Modern version of an 80 really.

I looked at a few GX470's before picking my wife up a mint 2009 4Runner. Main reason we didn't end up with the GX was the V8. On all fronts the GX is a nicer vehicle. Just gotta get rid of the KDSS and they are solid off-road.

The interior is way nicer on the GX. It has a few drawbacks, the rear end and the barn door. Swap the rear for a locked FJ is easy enough. The barn door not so much.

Can still off road a hybrid. Just need a battery skid. Less gas you need to pack. 30mpg while crawling. I have a hard time believing the toyota stuff that floats around until toyota officially says it.

Yeah if you are froading a 90k vehicle you might as well get a G550. Shit the window sticker on mine says 38k.
