Besides the size of the bolt head, is there any reason to go 12 point over 6 point, or is it just for the reduced head size?

My commute is about to get another 10 miles longer each way, and my wife and I want to get something a little more fuel efficient than the Tundra and current Lexus. Tundra can't be any better than 15mpg, and the Lexus gets 20.5 avg mpg. A Prius gets like 45mpg. I'd like to get a Lexus ES300h, but that's not in the budget. I'm thinking either the Prius or just get like a '12 ES350 to replace the current Lexus.

It's only gay if you like it . My wife drives a Prius. I drive it but I don't like it. She gets 50 mpg on it. When I drive it I only get 46. If you disable the traction controls it can spin the tires on take offs.

IMO it’s gayer when people feel the need to ask for other peoples’ opinion. This is just a general rant/vent rather than taking a shot at you. If anything, get that Prius and own it man! They’re not the best lookin cars, but they’re way more efficient than the Tacoma. Gotta do what you gotta do

Don’t know if getting a new vehicle is worth only 20 miles a day. 20 miles a day X days per week. How much gas would you really use in a month and how long would it take to even break even by getting a Prius or whatever.

Didn't know IPA's had gluten. I think I'm starting to feel sick after drinking this IPA all of a sudden.

I usually drive like a grandpa on the street. All my family drives like assholes, while I just jam to music and enjoy my drive. I'm sure I can get pretty good MPG's.

I totally get that. I just wanted to hear other peoples thoughts on a Prius (both legitimately and also for the jokes. We all love making fun of prius drivers ) since I've never driven one or been in one besides being drunk as shit over 10 years ago.

I want to get a new vehicle to replace the current Lexus anyways, so I'm trying to find a good replacement. I plan to have a new vehicle before the end of the year either way. Today I got lunch with Mariah and the idea of a Prius came up, so we looked into it a little. Might be a pretty solid option. Mariah is also going to be driving 40 miles each way to school 4 days a week coming spring semester, so that will help a bit on gas. They look okay and can save us some dough while we are at it. I only plan to keep it till she finishes school.
