They flash the ECU so that when you hit the brakes it cuts the throttle during hard acceleration and cut the pedal so it doesn't get stuck on the mat. I don't think my mat is on the hooks right now so it might have moved.

I had a relocate bracket that would have saved it also. Was $40. Could have made a ghetto version with some aluminum for less
