I've seen cab mount relocates brought up a few times in various threads, but i didn't see anyone make threads about their experience doing the relocate. So this my cab mount relocate. There's various vendors that make a cab mount relocate, and the two that i knew of at the time were alpine designs and red goat fab. I went with red goat fab because I felt it gave more clearance than the other kits, whether that's true or not I don't know.
you can get this kit from them by emailing or calling them. I emailed them and on a Thursday evening and had it paid for within the hour, they sent it out early the next week and I had it in my hands Sunday evening.

After running 35s on my truck for over a year I decided I needed to step up to 37s. I thought i could get away without the cab mount relocate but i was wrong.
The first thing I did was support the cab and start hacking off the old cab mount. I used a sawzall, cut off wheel, and a grinder.
The kit comes with a plate to weld onto the frame to cover up the hole under the old body mount. also it comes with new bushings bolts since I had to cut my old ones off it saved me a trip to the store.
Next I mounted the new tie in plate and mocked up the new mount and continued to grind till I was satisfied with the fit of the new mount. Its really difficult to get the top portion of the old mount ground down enough so the new mount sits flush.
after your happy with the fitment of the new bracket and plate, drill your hole in your floor. I went from the bottom up and then used a 2-inch hole saw to drill through the first layer of the floorboard.
next tighten everything up and make sure your body height is good and weld everything up.
after I welded everything i used my 12lb sledge to move some of the firewall back more and I think I gain about an inch more clearance by the cab mount. I'm sure I can trim the new kit to get some more clearance but that's a project for a later date if i need it.
