The most bizzar thing happened about 15min ago that involved my sister's dog "Lilly". So my mom and I are watching "Friday the 13th" 2009 version on NetFlix and she (i.e. Lilly) heard "help... help", being sorta faintly called out. I actually thought it was from the movie because the scene it was on would have made sense that someone was possibly trapped?
Anyways, the movie is still going until "I" hear it again, but now the scene it was on did NOT make any sense???
So I paused the movie and waited a little bit and just before playing the movie, I heard "help... help" and sprung into action wondering who the f*** is calling out??? Lilly is just barking now and trying to go to the source... outside.
Well, I go to my sister's next door neighbor and call out "hello.... excuse me... hello" on the porch step??? At this point it is all quiet and what not and actually kinda ominous because I could see the side door open, but the screen door closed??? WTF???
I said it a few more times and finally, "help". I "unlock" the porch gate (i.e. it was tied with rope) and walk up to the screen door and an old dude in his seventies was lying just behind the screen door with blood on top of his head. It looked as if he hit his head on the rail part of the track of the door and I could see a little bit of blood pooling just outside the screen door. He was coherent, but seemed a bit dazed!!!
He looks up and sees me and asks if I have "Patty's number" and I'm thinking "who the f*** is Patty" and ask him. He then looks as if he is starting to daze away. I call my sister and ask "who the hell is Patty" and she tells me "it's the girlfriend of the next door neighbor, why?" I tell her the dude next door looks like he fell and looks like he's bleeding at the top of his head? That is when she told me "oh my God, go ahead and call 911".
Really, it was my sister's dog that started it all when she heard the guy calling as her actions caught my attention. She does the same thing when my mom is calling out for us and starts barking in our faces to get our attention even though 99.9999999% of the time we already know our mom is calling out for us for something... usually the bathroom. But yeah, Lilly is just an AWESOME dog that is always on alert... apparently when even other people need help???
Calling 911 and these guys came pretty fast!!!
the true hero... really... Lilly
