Because 95% of the people out there either don't care or don't know about any of that stuff. Remember, the people that do understand this stuff and will actually abuse there vehicles offroad are not buying a brand new vehicles. Most people buy a 10+ year old vehicle and mod them as needed to fit their goals. Just look ant majority of Jeeps or Raptors out there. Eventually these trucks will make it into the hands of people like us that want to build an offroad vehicle with a decent starting platform (which this looks to have).

The least correct thing I've read all day.

yup, that's the problem with these retro releases. Doesn't live up to its predecessor because it's being sold to a totally different demographic. :beathorse:

I can’t wait to see these pop up in my college’s parking lot next year

Well mainly getting rid of all my single cabs. Selling the 1990 diesel ram next. In a perfect world we could trade in her runner and I would keep my 96 ram diesel for the toy hauler, the 4walker cuz fuck it and my mustang because I'm not letting that go without a fight. Get her the bronco for the little one
Any pics of the ram? Sounds cool

I love the prerunner versions of the new bronco, like this one you posted and the one that ran the Baja 1000. I think the 4 door would be a badass go fast with the longer wheelbase and set up like this one. The shape kinda reminds me of the Robby Gordon Hummer he raced in Dakar.

Too bad the higher HP V6 isn’t available in a manual. I know manuals are overrated to a lot of off-roaders but I think part of that is because they are aren’t as widely available on newer vehicles so people hate on manual trans more than it deserves.

Manual trans is definitely overrated IMO. Totally gets in the way of having an open hand for my beer...

If this rendering is produced by Toyota it should be dubbed the 6th gen Ivan Stewart Edition. I’d be interested but if the TRD Pro is $50k for bolt on and appearance bullshit then this one would probably be north of $100k. I could see Solo Motorsports doing one. If I ever hit the lotto I just might contract them to build me one..

It’s not a bad base. Plenty of things to like, plenty of things to wish were different but it has to appeal to more then just the off road community to be viable so it’s about what I expected. Fortunately I’m not in the market so I don’t have to think too much about it. No one was going to be 100% happy with it no matter what. Just how these things go
