I got a 93 jeep Cherokee jx I lost spark. I got a test light there is no power running to the pick up coil I replace the crank positioning sensor. Still nothing I had the jeep parked it ran an drove great.. One day I go for a drive around the block an I was laying into hard did a burn out parked it. When to go somewhere in it 15 mins later never started back up.

Have you checked if you are getting power to the distributor?

Not familiar with the Jeep engine but what sends power to the pick up coil? fallow that no spark up stream till you get spark then back up and there is the problem.
I had a GMC Jimmy that had no ignition spark but would run if you sprayed fuel down the intake and turn the ignition. As soon as you stopped the fuel spray it would shut off. I turned out to be the oil pressure switch. No oil pressure the ECU would not let the fuel pump turn on. There was a test to isolate the systems and see it it turned on when isolated from the oil pressure switch. Fuck I can't believe I remembered all that. I was 23 when I figured that out out of a Chilton.

I've looked on Google multiple times wasn't really much help. I'm ready just to buy all new everything
