Specifically 285/75/18 but anything in the general 35” family on 18” that’s hopefully over 60% life left.

Didn’t see a for sale section or anything like that so feel free to flame and troll me if there is. I’ll be ready.

I don't know what sales are on in your area, but I'd imagine it's a brand specific thing, like tools, where the manufacturer dictates what goes on sale when.
Here, goodyears are on sale. Set of 5 35" Duratracks are less than 1200 bucks. I realize that might not be a financial option, but if it is, it's worth looking into. You might do well to see what brands are on sale and when.

Duratracs suck balls.

Work fine for my area of the world. Not my fault you goombas live in rock ridden hell.

Find me another siped and studdable tire sold in a 37. It's ok, I'll wait.

I think the wildpeak is siped and studdable and 37?

Regardless, I’m in so-cal. Everything is “on sale” depending on who I go to and where I go through. I can get most of them under 1k but just was seeing if someone was upgrading possibly.

Wildpeak MTs are siped for water evacuation, but not ice, and not studdable.

Hankook Dynapro MTs are studdable but smoothlug.

Interco TSL SX2s are ice siped (sharp, zig zag lines) but not studdable.

Duratracs are studdable, with 2 rows per side, and ice siped.

17s open up more options. It's a shame I like my 16s so much.

Firestone has the destination MT/2, which has 3 rows per side and siping.

Getting into an AT, General Grabber AT3s are aggressively siped and studdable. I believe 4 rows per side. But those aren't going through much mud or snow.

At the end of it all, the Goodyears are the most widely available ones to fit me. The generals are cheapest, and the firestones are the most versatile.

Luckily most of us goombas don’t have to worry about having studded tires down here in the southwest. Siping is always a good idea though, but we rarely get into situations it’s really needed.

I mean on the 1 day you get snow, some level of winter control would be nice.

We giggle at the world crashing down when the south US gets a half inch of snow.
Not that it's unreasonable. Most of the south probably doesn't even HAVE a plow/sanding truck to go clear highways with.

Yeah the only places we see snow out here is in the high elevation areas. Since those areas are easy to avoid, most people out here have never driven in snow in their life. A lot of the time, we have to LOOK for snow if we want to drive in it. Highways in the mountains get cleared pretty quickly, and the gates get locked to many of the higher elevation forest roads. There are a few spots to find deep snow after a decent winter storm, but you really have to know how to get to those places. The snow melts super fast, so after a few days, anything worth driving in is usually melted by the weekend it seems like.

Duratracs suck balls. Except in ice, snow, and mud. Then they shine. Yes, even mud, probably has to do with the siping. Real world experience in all with my 4runner.

Throw a fucking pebble at the sidewall and you'll be replacing it though.

Good thing we are in the land of "glacial till" then.

What even are sharp rocks?

Dude, I didn't even hit a *sharp* rock the first time I blew one out. In the course of 2 years, mostly easy wheeling mind you, I replaced 5 tires due to sidewall cuts, slashes, or blow outs.

Did you get the LT ones?

Goodyear makes any size smaller than 33 in a P rated tire as well for people that only want the look and traction

Never had anyone I personally know have any issues on an LT Duratrac
