Just being exposed killed my relays.How'd you kill them? They're pretty well sealed unless you sucked water into the intake past the filter. I got a twin that wasn't working well. Cleaned it up and swapped the relays and it fired right up.
Remote mounted them, remote mounted the filters, and sealed the completely non-weather tight connections on the motor leads. That lasted until a short developed in the big flat waterproof connector. Cut that out on soldered the wires and all was good..... Until the bolt that holds the piston to the flywheel sheared. On both pumps. Just under 5 years of usage and it went in the dumpster.
