Nuked myself from TW so figured I'd start one here!

I bought this truck brand new and it was the first vehicle I'd ever bought new, I wanted to mod it as I come from a BMW background and frequented track days and just loved working on and modding cars but I wanted to wait a while and let the truck break in a bit but that didn’t really last long. Within the first month I had wheeled it, damn near sunk it, jumped it and everything in between and it was not soon after I realized this truck was not gonna stay stock. I’ve been through more iterations of campers, suspension and other mods than I’d like to admit but that’s part of the process that’s the build!

I like to think that the truck is a little bit of a swiss army knife, I like to camp in it, go fast, hit whoops, rock crawl, etc but that means it's ok at all those things but not great at any one thing. But I do try and do as much as I can, my work schedule is crazy from January to June so I basically don't get out at all during that time but after that it's game on!

Nice, I think your truck has all the mods I’d want to do and then some. Got any pics of the ARB compressor and dual battery cages mounted? (I’m assuming the compressor is in the engine bay and the batteries are in separate locations)

Don't have any pics of the compressor cause it's still out of the truck but I have a slee under the hood mount for it....

Ah! I was wondering how it would all fit. I thought the slee bracket goes in the same place as the house battery for the Off-Grid setup. Don’t know how you’re going to shoehorn that all in

I copied and pasted it from my old TW thread which I used as a maintenance log but yea makes no sense now since I'm not doing that haha.

Don't mind @Rapier46 I think he's just an angry Canuck. Personally I barely look at my mileage for maintenance. For the 4runner I go off how many trips since the last change and how hard did I wheel during those trips. It also sits most of the time or does short around town trips so I prefer to keep things fresh as I can.

I don’t really see any cool wheeling pics this confuses me. You got any body damage
Right you are.

But I will continue scrutinizing members threads because I don’t want any sissy shit tw fake wheelers poking around here ya feel me

You obviously don't read well, I'm not a dedicated crawler I like to do a lot of different shit in my truck and no body damage sorry, I'm for sure a fake wheeler by your standards :beerscheers:

Yea I'm a little OCD so I've kept pretty good records of everything I've done and mileage has always been a good basis. I still have a bunch of crap I need to do but I'll get to it after all this work travel.

I just do the oil change when the oil light comes on (every 5 thousand miles), coolant and trans every 2 years, and the other fluids once a year. Easy peasy..
