I suppose this is more of a “built thread”. After the 37s, rear Dana 60, the flatbed build, and a bunch of other stuff over the Winter, I’m officially tired of working on this truck.

I bought it new in 2013 and haven’t really stopped since. Now, I just want to wheel it. Other than maintenance and carnage repair, I’m done for a while.

Well, except for the steering. Still need to beef up the steering. Somehow...

Wow, @Tetten this guy might have you beat on who’s truck is cooler. :flipoff:
Ha! Should be un-fucked now.

I ALMOST ordered that and their TREs. I’m still hoping, although I know the chances are slim, that Marlin will make a standard width Marack.
Will Marlin ever be able to actually ship any products or will they just take a deposit and add you to a wait list. Asking for a friend, who also happens to be @Tetten

Might as well just get the Solo rack instead of wait forever for anything from Marlin.

Ok maybe we can be friends.

Have you fabricated anything on this truck other than the flat deck or it is bolt on stuff

If you are a cool fabricator dude we can definitely get along

Otherwise I hate

I only started welding a couple of years ago. Prior to that @Stairgod was my go to cool fabricator dude.

He built me a kick ass traction bar that has saved my driveshaft countless times. A really heavy duty rear crossmember, etc. guy can Tig too.

Recently, I bit off more than I could chew with the tubbing and Jon saved my ass there too. I’d like to think that I could handle forming the Sheet metal myself now that I’ve seen it done but time will tell.

I did the flatbed, rear frame boxing, bead locks, off road trailer, new crossmember for the traction bar to attach to, twin sticks, and few other small things.

Suppose I’m a cool fabrication dude in training?

The offroad trailer was my first real project

When are we wheeling???

Soon man. Can’t wait to get back on the trail. It’s been way too long.

He is a decent fabricator. Don't listen to him. His welding is damn good for a noob, and he has some very good ideas.
