I’m pretty sure that event is held on private land, pay to play back east. There’s a annual trip hosted on T4R out there at “the cove”. The 2nd pic is the group shot, you know kinda like the ones we do at all our large group events
Dam I’m glad we live in the West

I loved the part where they were caravaning through Fish Creek at dusk with everybodys ditch lights and rear aux lights on.

I can't imagine that many vehicles so close together rolling through a state park. I can almost guarantee that trip started because somebody in a stock rig asked where to go and can somebody guide me, then OCO turned it into a circle jerk.

I was going screetshot the ditch light parade and make fun of them, but I'm still playing a manipulation game of getting them to think I give half a shit about their existence.

We all gotta start somewhere, and I'm not ashamed to say I was a part of multiple 15-25 rig runs. I am however proud to say I quickly found that it wasn't for me and that shit got old quick. That group has been around long enough to know it's a terrible idea for large groups, especially in places like Anza borrego where space is prime and trails can quickly get clogged. Yet they continue to promote large runs and take large groups out to popular areas contributing to the congestion on the trails. Only good thing is you can avoid them by staying away from fire roads.

Speaking of "fire roads", I miss Santiago Peak.
