I got the truck slapped together good enough to make it out. Rubicon was awesome. We had a riot and cruised through in about 9 hours. Only issue I had was a fuel pump wire that shit out on me 1/4 mile into the trail. I also need to crank up the coilovers on all 4 corners. Finally had the truck at loaded weight and it’s sitting about 2” too low.

and then after we got off the trail, @Tetten front diff cooked itself for no apparent reason. Trailered his truck back to @theesotericone house and pulled is front drive train out. I think @Tetten bad luck has to run out at some point.

we need a documentary crew to go with us because we don’t stop to take pictures. These are all the photos I took.

Get 35s. You can be camp cook, I can be camp photographer/videographer. We both have lockers and they've all done these trails on 35s already so we know it's doable. You might flop because of the rtt though so you'll have to ditch it and leave the family at home. Make sure you AAA is paid up, I'll probably need it.

Is that the hardest part of the trail? Rubicon seems like an easy trail

The rock gardens are no joke and a shit ton of fun. I got hung up on little sluce, pinch point that took me a bit to figure out the right line, and then another spot that I was fucking around on a buggy line. other than that, its a shit ton of banging skids through rock gardens. I would have like to done it on 35s to compare. I was also taking some fucked up line choices on purpose for the fun of it. I think @Tetten said the rubicon is harder than dusy but just shorter.

Dude your shit talking privileges are revoked. You have not ran a hard trail in over a year or even off roaded your truck more than twice in a year. Get your shit done and lets go. are you even gonna make it to the dusy this year? or do you still have ptsd?
