Dude your shit talking privileges are revoked. You have not ran a hard trail in over a year or even off roaded your truck more than twice in a year. Get your shit done and lets go. are you even gonna make it to the dusy this year? or do you still have ptsd?
Is Dusy still happening? What are the dates? We need to go in August or early Sept

we ought to pick some dates. I have to adjust a few skid plates and build a better transfer skid, besides that, my truck is still good to go. I was talking to Matt about early September. @AssBurns is gonna be out because he can't keep 4wd working. @theesotericone his truck is still good. @Tetten should have his truck together by then.

I've had such a lack of motivation lately. It fucking sucks. I get burnt out during the work week and my weekends have been busy as hell. If this weekend's weather isn't shit and my schedule stays pretty clear I'll try to get my t-case pulled to see what the deal is. Other than that the rig is doing alright besides some leaks which won't hold me back from wheeling.

As for dates, I prefer earlier. I'm trying to work around Caleb's schedule to start the LS swap in August. My thoughts are to beat it on Dusy then the following weekend take it up to Caleb to get jammin on the swap.

I just *might* have enough PTO next year to get some real trips in. Six months to catch up financially and I'll be able to afford breaking/fixing things.

Did you fabricate the body mount relocate?
View attachment 24035

What sealant did you use?View attachment 24039

Shit. I didn't see this until now. Sorry. This is the alpine designs body mount relocate kit. I ended up plating the body of the truck and boxed in all the way around the new mount. I didn't focus too much on resealing it becuase it ended up the same way OEM had the body mount through the same hole.

For all the firewall that I tubed, I used a healthy amount of 3M seam sealer. I haven't had any sealing issues.

Photo dump from trips last fall and early spring up through 2 weeks ago to the Grand Canyon with @Tetten in this little overlander 3rd gen

For the most part, the truck has held together really well for the last 9-10 months of wheeling. Finally had to do some maintenance. Inner tie rod, Lower Uniballs, ballistic joints adjustments, and fix the stupid cab mounts that ripped off the frame. But all things considered, not bad at all for beating the holy shit out of the truck. Multiple Moab trips from May - November, Johnson Valley, Colorado, and some Utah west desert trips.

After destroying my front fenders in Johnson Valley, I scored some +2 Fiberglass fenders already painted. Also got new bead locks and narrowed my track width by 2 1/4" inches.

Then last month I picked up a new race trailer. Used but new to me but got it at a pretty good deal.

It's stupid long. hooked up to the truck, it's almost the same length as a semi. also turns like one too. kinda a pain to pull in and out of places but damn it's nice to have the truck with me in the same trailer.

The 3x trucks are red? Anyways. How much travel are you getting from your setup in the rear? That shot of you looking back with the rear stuffed coming over a ledge should be another calendar pic.
