I really need to do my body mount bushings. Just so much work to do it. I have to pull the bumper and tank, and all my hardware is bent from dragging on rocks. I’ve had them for close to a year now and my stock mounts are REALLY sagging.

Yea I sat on mine for over a year and a half. Totally worth installing them though. Night and day especially with the swingout.

That looks like a really good way to kill a perfectly good camera lens. lol

When are you guys going to have the modular storage for sale?
Killed my ND Filter but that is what filters are for haha. Gotta get the goods nobody else is willing to.

We are picking up the sheets to cut the final product this week. We have been spending the last few weeks hunting down suppliers and finding the best prices to get them as cheap as possible for everyone. Been a battle, to say the least. I would say we should have them dropping early late September, early October if everything goes as planned. I'll keep posting updates between here and the Sherpa BS Thread as well.

Nothing but maintenance lately.

I replaced the upper and lower ball joints on both sides as mine had started to get some play. I also replaced the spherical bearings on both of my Kings as they also had some play and were squeaking terribly. Also the Ujoint that i threw in while in moab gave out. Sounds about right for Moog.

Here is photos of that mess.

A super fun night out minus like 70mph winds all night long. It literally closed my tent on me in the middle of the night.... freaking stupid.

Well on upon my return I immediately ripped my rear axle apart because I had nasty vibrations when turning to the right. Left rear wheel bearing was FU&%^D. So both my rear hubs are at a machine shop getting new bearings and outer wheel seal. I'll be replacing all the rear brake components and the inner seals. It should be good to go for a while. Off to Moab this weekend and the following weekend as well for Rock Therapy.

I then decided while its all out I would do a total drum brake overhaul being it has never been done so I replaced everything that I could.

Immediately after finishing this project I headed out to Moab to meet up with Addison, his bro Chase, Nate Mobster and some of their friends from up North.

Made it into Moab late Thursday evening, just as they made it off the trail. It was perfect timing. We camped in town that night at a questionable campground under some powerlines. My Tent literally was buzzing all night and every now and then would ark. It was pretty terrifying but survived..

48894065402_15ae0d9c9b_z.jpg

The next morning was off to swap an axle seal on Addison's rig.

We then shot out to Top of the World for a sunset run.

Unfortunatly, Addison cracked a rock pretty good and it managed to crack the radiator. I know the feeling all to well.

After some cleanup, we packed up and headed down to find camp, drink beer, and have some laughs.
Next morning Nate towed Addison down to the main road and they shot into town for a new Radiator.

After a solid day of relaxing, Addison's truck was fixed up, and he headed for home while the rest of us headed for Denver with a quick stop in Grand Junction for the night.

Its been a minute. But I'm here with some updates and stuff.

I went out to Moab again, the following weekend from the trip before this as well.

First Trail we ran was Moab Rim was a serious bucket list trail but finally knocked it off the list.

Most of these photos are by Hayden and Will.

Looks like the truck is leaning pretty hard to the left and "Im gonna loose an arm" but its just the angle of the photo the trail actually slopes pretty hard to the right.

As far as recent things go, I have since replaced my drawers. Soon to have two of these bad boys.

These are the Sherpa Equipment Co. PAK System and they are super rad. We are really happy with how they turned out.

49113409792_c9a2d67ef6_z.jpg

These mount to a baseplate, so no turn buckle BS. Everything simply just bolts together and bolts into the floor for a clean and strong install. They also retain access to the extrusion so bolting accessories and tie-downs to your drawer is seamless and easy.

49113409942_a7c954c899_z.jpg

Overall, stoked to have a nice drawer setup. I also have replaced the upper and lower rear control bushings with some poly ones. Mine were wrecked so great upgrade/needed maintenance.

Here she is.

Some recent work that has been done to the ole girl.

I sadly had a bit of a fender bender a couple of weeks ago. I rear-ended a stock taco and the Addicted Offroad cross member did exactly what it was designed to which was save my frame, and arguably saved the Tacoma from a ton of damage.

First I'll start with dashcam footage of this lovely incident from the @_Ripcord who was behind me. Basically a bicyclist just rolled out in front of a bunch of cars doing 35-40 mph and this is what happens.

https://flic.kr/p/2igJH2B
Then here's the damage.

49404856026_f5af07ec6a_c.jpg

Taco faired well. New Tail Gate skin and bobs your uncle.

49405034707_309656ca3b_c.jpg

So the only thing that really happened is the cross member bent in on impact and broke my grill because the winch literally touched it. So any movement just broke off the plastic.

49370149221_aeb5e3ba74_c.jpg

49370361282_37631b4d3a_c.jpg

Now to the fix. Round 1 while I waited on more parts.
So, first I cut out the Addicted Cross Member in the center just for ease. Mine was fully welded on so for now just the middle came out.

49370119761_65ca6a172f_c.jpg

That gained me access to this bent AF skid mount. Made a new one, welded that in.

49369661718_d83340b0bf_c.jpg

49370125191_d1ac0f2290_c.jpg

I then re-did all my nasty wiring and painted some things, installed some cleaner blinkers that actually work.

49370336777_ff7c4dcbbb_c.jpg

49370126501_3bbfdaf61b_c.jpg

Then Scotty stopped by with a new Cross Member and I went to town!

Cleaned up.

49404323293_125da81320_c.jpg

49404837936_f588192d3f_c.jpg

Painted it then installed the bumper. Deadlifted this bad boy with the winch and bolted it up by myself by some miracle haha.

49404801896_bb1e9fccbc_c.jpg

Trimmed the grill, plugged everything in, and yea. Back to 99%. Need an emblem for the new grill, put on new corner lights and my fogs dont have power for some reason. So, another day another problem but feels good to have the hard work out of the way.

Making more progress on the 4Runner.

Front diff is back in the truck, front ARB locker is plumbed. Waiting on the rear diff to get built. All the parts just showed up finally.

I ordered new wheels and tires as well. Would have kept my wheels but the size I wanted was only offered in a 17" wheel.

I went with KMC Impact OL's in a 17x9 -12 and am pretty stoked on these. Excited to see them in person.

As far as the tires I picked up Kenda Klever RT's in a 35x10.5r17 which is a pretty rad size. At only 63 pounds a tire this should be a pretty great setup for the underpowered pig.

Traveling through the next week, but the goal is to get the 4runner back together by Rock Therapy which is the end of the 3rd week of October.

Let's see if it can happen!

Things are starting to look up!

The front is all buttoned up and the rear diff shows up today. The new wheel and tire combo is also looking amazing! Stoked to get it out and wheel this weekend!
