Personally I’m been brought up to be a weatherby snob. It’s not for everyone for sure.

30-06-I use it for deer here in AZ and my 300 win mag for elk. 308 or 30-06 will be good for any game in the lower 48 and can find ammo easily.

Yes a Larue in .260 suppressed.

Personally I'd skip .308 and go to one of the 6.5 bullets, either 6.5 creedmore or .260. Both are the same bullet. Much easier to shoot at distance.

Had a gift card to a local gun store, always wanted a 1911 in 10mm. Took her to the range today and have been smiling ever since! The only thing that made me smile more was all the great boobs at Tilted Kilt. Didn't feel like cooking so stopped there after the range!
