Thanks dude! Yeah I made just about everything that's metal on my rig. The only things I didn't make was cam tab gussets, spindle gussets, and double shear UCA brackets. Those were cheap enough that I didn't want to waste my time making them.

I make Fake Food from plastics and rubbers and Bump Stops on the side. All of the food items in this picture are 100% FAKE. Even the Margarita.

Who was expecting to see a random ass post like this?!

I plan to gain some experience fabbing my own stuff soon. I build (fitter-welder) navy vessels and commercial ships so it’s quite a learning curve for to work on material so thin ( anything less than 3/8 is super thin for me). Used to burning .045 wire with %100 c02 anywhere from 27 to 34 volts

I don’t stack dimes in my line of work so I just need to practice and get to it.
Any tips to help me along a little

@AssBurns

I like that rear bumper. Came out nice.

Question on your link setup. I am hoping to start mine next month. Did you use the calculator to get you starting numbers and then adjust for room on the truck? I am having trouble finding info on anti squat/dive. I understand it but am not sure real world numbers to have. I am going to be going slower and mostly rock crawling. My uneducated guess is to look for 80%?

You are more go fast? Do you mind sharing what you ended up with? How have you liked it?

These are the thing I have build at the shop i used to work at. This wacky ass bumper on a toyota pick up (guy show'd me a pic and said 'i want it like this') i also built custom long travel for the same truck and a engine cab and bed cage.

These are some of my homespun mods, the roof rack needs front anchor points and a deck to be complete. I hardly use the molle rack, but it holds all the better to have and not need it things. The shallow drawer is so helpful. It has all the shit that can’t be left at home ever, a 10,12,14,17,19mm, towstrap, pry bar, shovel & saw.
