yes on the fifth link! (but ditching one on the short links does change your wheel arc from one side to the other)

I did some spreadsheet work on extending the passenger upper and keeping the stock length lowers - I'll find it and post it here. (3rd gen 4runner, but still)

- I think this is the right one - it was extending the stock upper to the frame and lifting the axle ends of the lowers to axle-center, IIRC...

Hopefully recording episode 11 tomorrow. I was super busy today so we couldn't record. I think we will discuss some linked suspension terms and what they mean tomorrow. I typed up some notes last week on some of the key words to know when it comes to suspension. If you got any suggestions on what you want to hear, let me know.

I've been thinking a bit about the positioning of the axle side of the upper link in a rear 3 link scenario and its effect on axle movement - want to touch on that? Also, anti-squat in dynamic terms - increasing or decreasing during suspension travel. I'd love to hear about that stuff.

Oh - and I've been thinking a lot about weight placement after our last chat - particularly in regard to climbing... We need to find some qualified egghead to discuss all this stuff.

Okay, I'll try to touch on that a little if I can get some time to think about scenarios and it's effect.

Weight placement has a lot of different variables that can be beneficial or detrimental effects. I think that would be a good topic to talk about. Especially with someone that knows more us.

Don't go too crazy trying to be organized. The free flowing discussion is part of what makes it work, and entertaining to listen to.
Agreed. I enjoy the lack of organization, but what we do need to focus on is not going off into tangents too much. We tend to jump around a lot and have a tough time bringing things back on topic (even though there was no particular topic we were planning to focus on)

I can't believe I've been missing these!

I'm 1 1/2 in now, but i'll be done with these next week. My daily commute is about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs each way. I'll burn thru these in no time.
