Fuck you. I'm the legend. Mike doesn't have the shirt.

I wish. Buying a second house in Salem (a HUD foreclosure - so if you want to come up any time...) so Deann would not look kindly on me being out of work.

Rental or a flip? I keep thinking about getting rental properties. We have enough credit and equity. I have all the skills for upkeep. I guess I'm just lazy. lol

Sorry man, you're not a legend. You're notorious but not legendary. Whoever sold you that shirt should loose their job. lol

All right gents. You have 2 weekends to get your shit dialed before this thing starts.

With that said, I'd like a roll call of who is actually going. I know @Tetten is in. I'm sure @AssBurns will have his rig done. @Mike_taco4x4 is actually wrenching on his rig instead of watching his 75" TV so that's a good sign. @hanks been MIA but he knows he'll never live it down if he misses this one.

That covers the usual suspects. Anyone else who wants to go now is the time to get vetted. lol

I just started my 4runner for the first time in over a month. And after @Hank cut all my wiring and it still starts. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous. I ordered all the battery cable and stuff to move the battery to the rear.

gonna get the winch hooked up and respooled. Hopefully I can have all the electrical hooked up besides the battery stuff and get the fenders, lights and grill mounted. If I gave time today, I’ll get started on a skid. Shouldn’t take TOO long to get all that stuff done

So, I see a tacobox and a t-case. Still having clearance issues?
I pulled the OEM case off to clearance around it more and noticed there was a small amount of interference from the Tacobox shifter on the boot and an adjacent washer, and maybe some more on the on the shifter itself, didn't want to leave it like that so just pulled everything off. Waiting on some adhesive in the mail to install some heat shielding in there to minimize cabin temps.

Also gonna redo the boot in the chassis hole, I kind of half assed it before. Gonna try and make some flanges to hold it and seal it better

My rigs ready. I'll be carrying 2 extra spindles with LBJ's already on them. I'll also be carrying a alt rebuild kit with me. My alt's started to act a little funny. It's usually reading 13.7 or more at my in-cab voltmeter. I was driving a short distance yesterday and that dropped to 12.2. I parked it for a few minutes. When I got back in it was back up to 13.7. I'm going to leave it alone for now but did order a rebuild kit to have with me just in case. Other then that little glitch the rigs running strong.

How about it gents? Who's stoked?

I’m beyond stoked. I drove my truck about a total of 7 miles this weekend and it drives pretty much the same as before. No surprise there, but you never know what’s gonna happen.

BUT my taillights keep blowing a fuse. Gotta figure that shit out ASAP. Gauge lights aren’t working and the fuses are good. Still need an alignment. Might try to make a transmission skid before this trip too. My transmission oil pan is leaking because of how many times I’ve hit it lol.

I had a productive weekend even with going to an Oktoberfest party yesterday evening and being pretty hungover all morning. Not @theesotericone hungover, but it still hurt and I didn’t get out of bed until like 9:30, and didn’t get into the garage until almost 11. Well worth it though.
