How has she been health wise? I honestly didn't remeber that stat...shit.
She’s in great health. Only issue she’s ever had is ear issues (I flush them out once in a while), and the occasional upset tummy/runs. This usually happens when she eats something she shouldn’t or I have to change her food mixture. She’s slowed down quite a bit but now that she has a packmate she’s acting like a much younger dog. Just wears out quicker now.

Dude my white GSD has ear infections every month. Ended up with 3 hematomas from shaking her head. Paid for the first one to be "fixed" then realized we got taken to the cleaners by the vet and they will be reabsorbed into the body if left alone. Great dogs... shit ears and hips.

Every month? That’s frequent, I’d be clipping the hair inside her ears so they’d air out properly.

As far as hips I’d point the finger at breeding. My boy was from some backyard Breeder in West Covina and while he was an awesome dog he had hip issues later on. My girl came from a legit breeder out near Rancho Cucamonga and has no issues at all. One of her parents was imported from Germany, the other was a local dog.

No problems hip wise but the ears are a constant struggle. Should have prefaced the every month with "used to" now that we clean them every couple of weeks. And by we, I mean my wife...
