Nice. We do a Turkey run every year in DV. Potluck friendsgiving and deep fry a couple birds. Normally happens the weekend before Thanksgiving. Tons more to explore out there.

We deep fried a bird the first year we went. I need to spend more time on the north and east end. So much I haven't explored yet.

Wtf I thought we were the only ones eating full on thanksgiving dinners in the middle of nowhere

Haha the first year was probably the best out of the 3. We've had some legit food the last two years though. Turkey legs fit in the fridge better than a whole turkey.

Since it seems like the dudes here are hard core wheelers and we’re just a bunch of overlanders, maybe we shouldn’t do trail runs together. But it’d be fun to hook up in the desert for a Friendsgiving/Banned in the USA party. And then go out separate ways.

I'm just as big a fan of go fast and exploring as I am rock crawling. Not LT but these ADS let me get a decent amount of speed.

I’m a dirt tourist. I have the family in tow and bribe @4runner DOA and @Airdog into leading trips by bribing them with Korean BBQ.

That’s assuming I ever make it on another trip. Hahaha. Alex complained that I didn’t bring enough. But we had more people than I accounted for. Won’t happen again.
How much do you usually bring per person?

I like to bring chili and tritip. When we ran the Mojave road last year we had tritip, chili, Pollo asada, and carne asada.
