Third time's a charm. Dobinson 3" heavy variable rate 600+ lb coils. The typical 3" heavy 400 lb coils couldn't handle the weight of the swing out, spare, gas, camping gear, roof rack weight. They did okay around town but off road/loaded resulted in harsh bottoming out on the bumps. Bumper/spare is nearly 400 lbs by itself.

I'm planning on ~350lbs max constant load in the rear (tube bumper/swingout/armor/rack) - got any onions for me on 677v vs 701v?

I'm super happy with the 701v set. Handles the constant weight perfectly and doesn't sag much fully loaded with camping gear. Don't forget to factor in a full tank of gas when calculating the constant weight. 23 gallons = 138 lbs. Granted it fluctuates, but it can still make a difference.

Yeah I was behind him and saw him take out a few rather large bushes... bushes seemed to have won lol.

One thing I've noticed with these coopers over my km2s is that they're slippery in loose dirt at high speeds. I was at 15 psi. Had the same issue in death valley. Might need to try 12 next time out.

Why dont you try driving it without a 12 pak and shots of whiskey in your body. Gonna bet it aint so slippery.

Naw it's definitely slippery compared to the km2s. They were way more planted in awd. I've been sliding around corners in awd the last two trips and I never used to do that.
