Line on the left looked like it would have been easier if you guys were in a hurry to get back to camp. Haha
Ha! Yep. Definitely would have been easier, but a few of us decided to give it a shot, so I decided to go up that hard way.

Haven't tried, but maybe in 2WD. I kinda feel like I'm not geared low enough though.
Not geared low enough? How low do you want? I find the double low with the automatic is almost unusable. I’ll bet you’ll blow through the brakes 90 percent of the time or atleast feel like it is. Besides to show off I don’t see using double low much. It’s to slow and doesn’t allow enough wheel spin.

This is the best picture I have at the moment.

Twenty internet tire experts will go into detail of anecdotal evidence to prove you wrongNo kidding. I kinda wanna post this on the overland bound forums and see what their reactions are.

I was going back and forth with a buddy of mine earlier and this was the end result of our conversation.

I'm 90% sure the next set of tires I'm getting are going to be 35s, but now I'm half tempted to try and make 37s fit. I could steal one of the 37s of my dad's rig and see how shit would be need to be cut to make them fit, but I'm kinda afraid to see that it's possible and then act on it
Someone tell me this is a bad idea and that I shouldn't do it please
It's a great idea. You should get the 37's. Then when you realize how much work it is to make them fit you can sell them to me for a great price. Or not. lol
I say DO IT!
But if you do it, make sure they actually fit without rubbing like a motherfucker. My biggest pet peeve is tires rubbing all over the place. You are gonna have to cut the hell out of the firewall, and inner fenders. Or do a fat body lift.
But still...

I've been thinking 37s also because of the breakover issues of the long Tacoma wheelbase...
(if you can make them live up front, I'll reconsider my LT option for the Taco.)

I still rub the frame with my bald 35's. I rub the UCA a little too, but I can fix that next time I mess with my alignment. That doesn't have anything to do with tire diameter though. How close is your tire to your body mounts? When my tires were new, they were really close with my alignment cams in a neutral position. Maybe with max caster that will barely clear?meh. its not that bad even with just a 1". And I'm still running limited flares lol. I do need to notch my frame though, U-Turns are possible but I can feel every lug as it bumps over the frame
