There are like 3 scenarios where things don't go well according to my doctor.

1. It doesn't take. You don't shoot blanks and you wind up getting someone knocked up. (hopefully a wife and not a mistress)
2. You get a piece of hard scarring or something on the end of the tube they cut and its painful.
3. You get a testicular hematoma where the internal stitching on your ball tube breaks and your sack fills up with blood like a giant scrotal water balloon, but instead of water, it's filled with blood.

These apparently all only occur about 2% of the time.

They certainly will do it to a guy who is 25 with no kids. I know first hand. I was 26 and have no kids. I expressed my personal beliefs on the matter and the doctor agreed. And yes, you are awake and numb and you feel nothing.

I did it about a year ago, and keep forgetting to go get tested. That's probably why I'm so nervous about the risks. I watched them Snip, Crimp, and Cauterize the tubes, so I know they did it, but I still get scared haha.

It's really not bad. I had it done on a Thursday evening, and just relaxed the whole weekend. It was uncomfortable but not exactly painful. It felt like someone was tugging on your nuts for a few days.

They'll do it, but they'll try to talk you out of it. I didn't need to do any convincing since my wife and I already had two kids, and we were both there at the consultation saying we don't want anymore. I was 25 at the time.
The doctor did say, "If you didn't already have two kids, I'd try to talk you out of this, but you both are here and don't want anymore kids". He said he's done if for someone as young as 21 with no kids before.

Yeah chances of any issues are pretty slim. Well worth the risk IMO.

Yeah. I've been dealing with other issues, but that's about taken care of so I just need to get the referral from my doctor and then get it scheduled.
