Any audio people here? I recently upgraded my home theater and love it. Now, I want ot upgrade the stereo in the truck. It's a 2012 with the JBL head unit. Doing some research now but any recommendations are welcome.

Like others have said, start with sound deadening and do it correctly. I'd follow these steps (I also buy my sound deadener from here). Sound deadener will help any stereo equipment you decide to put in later.

The main issues with the JBL system is it's very flat. If you swap the tweeters out to something better it can help a bit. If you plan on changing any of the other speakers then plan on doing a full system with an amp or amp's. The JBL amp isn't a good option when it comes to changing speakers in the truck.
