Yeah people try to do that to clear bigger tires without tubbing. It's just the lazy way to ineffectively make room for bigger tires. I have mine at the B or C setting I think. I wanted more caster out of it.

You made the right decision IMO. I tell my friends that heims are for race cars, not daily driver off road trucks. I did just buy all the parts for heim steering, so don't listen to me too much. Mine is far from a daily driver now though.

Yeah mine's a daily driver and hopefully this will be the last stuff for a while (i keep saying this shit). Guess i'll set it on D and the plates with positive caster and see what shakes out. I think when I burn out the 33s I'll jump up in tire size but that'll require a re-gear so I might as well lock the front.

Probably nothing wrong with heim joints but just a bit less maintenance friendly.

I have SPC's on both the Runner and my son's Tacoma. It was a no-brainer for the Tacoma becaus the frame is tweaked. Left side is in the middle right side is maxed out. Drives straight and doesn't wear tires.

Blasphemy, heim joint all the things.
like clamps in woodworking, can't have enough heim joints. no one's fault they live outside of off-road nirvana, South West US. yea they are a maintenance item but it's not bad. there's so many other things that I'll worry about, like the flimsy frame and motor mounts ( solid mounts are coming with crawler box)

If they are vertical (meaning the bolt and misalignment spacers are horizontal) the maintenance is a lot less. I suspect because the cup doesn't accumulate crap and hold it for the joint to chew up the liner.

Does anyone know how bad the alignment would be to run these tabs without adjustable UCA? I know there are many factors that will go into this.

Not good, but you could probably get away with it for a while. Eventually the camber and caster sucking would get old.

Super late to this party but I just installed my cam eliminators (neutral/neutral) and had some questions about "known setups" at this point.

For example, if I left the front cams neutral, took the rear cams to + and set my SPC ball joints to E to get close to 3-4° of caster would I need to max the upper ball joints outward to get correct camber? They are centered in the slot now giving me a little positive camber with my SPCs set at D.
