Getting an estimate here to see who would be interested in buying these kits. It would include the 8 cam delete plate with 3 ranges of adjustment and 4 grade 8 3/4" bolts and nuts. Would need to be used in part with Total Chaos cam tab kit.

How many would be interested if I started production on these kits?

Depending on the market, you could always just sell the Cam Plates by themselves and give the specs on the bolts for folks to source their own. I know it is expensive to buy large grade 8 hardware, and more expensive to keep an inventory of them. Sure it's easier to buy a kit with all hardware included, but as a manufacturer, that increases the overhead cost.

Maybe @eimkeith and @Plastics Guy can chime in here on this.

Either way, I'm in for a set.

Very true. It will be cheaper to make a mass set of plates so I would like to at least get an estimate on who would want these.

Original plates in the photo were plasma cut. My next run would be laser cut so there would be no grinding or drilling involved.

Exactly. Then if you really start to get a lot of interest, then you can just look into adding in the hardware to the kits. I think these are an awesome idea. As long as you have some way to adjust the uppers (ie. Heimed Uppers, or SPC) then you can easily dial in your alignment. I never touch my lower alignment cams anymore. I just set them to Center, and mess with the uppers.

Did you get a quote from Laser yet?

Uppers give you better adjustment I think.

I haven't got a quote yet from laser because I want an idea on quantity first. If not I can see how much individual cuts will cost.

You could easily make that for 4 positions; do that and I’m for 2 sets.

just go slightly off-center - that would give you a lot of adjustment positions.
Guess maybe ever so slightly off center would be okay. I prefer my alignment cams in the neutral position for caster, then adjust my SPC uppers for 2nd to max caster. If it's only slighly off centered, I could always set them to be slightly more or less caster while keeping them in a semi neutral position.

So what's the max adjustment on stock Cams? Maybe divide that measurement into 4 options?

So say there is a total of 1.0" of range with stock cams. Divide it by 5 to get increments of 0.2"

I think an all inclusive kit is pretty standard these days. As a manufacturer stocking materials is just part of doing business. I think people appreciate a complete well thought out package.

I actually have something similar to this I've been working on... No TC tabs required :spy:

easier & faster to install than anything on the market.

First sets will be available next week.

Price will be $50 for 8 eliminator plates +shipping cost.

If there are enough requests I will have some available with hardware.
Stoked to get my set! I NEED them bad.

Anyone with LT should probably have a set of these. Stock alignment cams just don’t hold up to much abuse.

Stupid question, but I assume this is for Tacomas? I’d love a set for my wife’s Tundra to allow me to lock the lower into the full forward position and stop fucking with it after beating it out of position every hard trip. We already have the TC cam tabs in place. And adjustable heimed uppers.
