So I’ve seen this brand around but never bought anything from them. Always mixed it up with Anderson manufacturing. Any case about a year ago I assembled a rifle using a Aero lower and there were no issues. (Well there was a problem with the Daniel Defense grip but that was my fault). Lately I ordered a few Aero parts and here’s my take on them
Standard upper receiver. No issues. They have a cosmetic blend for $54.99 but does not have the assist or ejection port door.
Quantum M-Lok handguard. This thing is huge. Well an average adult male will have no problems holding it but it’s got at least a centimeter more diameter than a Daniel Defense MFR XS. It attaches to a big honking barrel nut that’s aluminum. Personally I feel that’s the main drawback of this handguard, the barrel nut is $40 separate, $20 when you buy it with a blem handguard (15” for under $72). Aside from the low price what made me give this a shot was that it has 8 sides of M-Lok attachment points. There’s only a rail at the very ends so you can save weight on something that won’t have a bunch of crap attached to it
Low profile gas block. Seems a little overpriced but I figured it wasn’t crap and has two set screws underneath to secure it. My previous experience with gas blocks involved some fine grit sandpaper to wiggle it over the gas port. The aero block slid right down almost too easy. I’ll report more once I actually fire this thing
