Went to the beach downtown MKE yesterday afternoon. Was a nice winter day for a walk down by Lake Michigan. There were folks out there waxing their boards getting ready for an afternoon of surfing. That’s a big negatory for me there, good buddy. But still a nice winter day.

Enjoy SoCal, y’all.

The fact people surf out there is crazy in itself. Then add in the fact that it is February in Milwaukee is just insane.
About an hour north of me is Sheboygan, WI. If you've ever heard of Kohler (whether it be plumbing fixtures or the golf club), that's Sheboygan area. Saw a billboard recently that said, "Visit Sheboygan, the Malibu of the Midwest". Funniest thing I'd ever seen. So I asked my neighbor about it since he works up there. He said that Sheboygan has some of the best surfing on Lake Michigan, hence the billboard. I had no idea.

If you've ever seen the animated "Surf's Up" movie, Chicken Joe from Sheboygan makes perfect sense now.
