Like I said. Not gonna sit here and argue back and forth as the"3rd wheel" I was there when the bumpstop broke. I'm the one who fucking found it in his truck when I replaced the tie rod. You're acting like an irrational fool and not reading what I'm actually saying. Good public image for your...
The truck wasnt jumped when the bumpstop failed. The passenger side failed early on in poison spider mesa. The driver side was fine and ran for several more days which included jumping it. It is still intact now. the passenger side is the only failure that happened
Truck in question is running 2.5 radflo coilovers and 35s. The stock bumps had the two washers on them for 4 months before the durobumps went in. The tie rod wasnt magled from an impact, it bent in half climbing a ledge with the front locker on. Its a very common failure point on the newer...
Im not going to sit here and be in a pissing match with you over the internet about this stupid bullshit and you being too stubborn to be open to suggestions or other possibilities of failure other than "it had to of been his fault". Its a waste of my time. Upon closer inspection I can see the...
I think you all need to take a step back and understand what a bumpstops purpose is. It's primarily to limit where your max up travel point is and these obviously aren't doing that seeing as he started rubbing after installing them because they allowed too much compression and the bumpstop then...
Just got back from my Moab trip and put these bumps through hell again. The ones on the 3rd gen held up as I expected them too even with the excessive hucking and crawling.
My buddy's 5th gen on the other hand had an issue with one of the fronts. Discovered this when we were replacing a tie...
My squadron sports technically aren't dot compliant but I've never been flashed while having them in so I still use them. The amount of light and beam pattern on them is insane. 2 little pods are almost as bright as my 38 inch light bar in the roof lol
Funny story there haha. I was taking pictures after the install with all the lights on. During the day obviously. And after being on for like 45 seconds the passenger side spot light under the bar just quit. No flickering or anything. Just shut off and won't work. So I've said fuck it with cheap...
Bumpers are done, winch and lights are wired. Basically ready to go break it again

It would help reduce frame rubbing but again wouldn't solve it. And it would increase firewall interference. It's all tradeoffs if you don't rub in one spot you'll rub in another.
Less but not much. I actually tried a friend's set of 35s on before I ever bought mine so I could get an idea of how everything would clear. They were 17x9 3.5 backspace SCS F5s with the same brand new 315 copper STT pros on them. They still did not clear the shocks in the back, they just...
So its currently bitch ass cold, 20 below, and I don't want to try and get the skid loader to start to flex the 4runner out, hopefully will do that later this week when it warms up some. But here are the shots I got of it in the garage. What started this whole shit show was the damn tires, they...
This doesn't surprise me at all haha. Everyone I know with the pitbulls hates them. IMO they're one of the most overrated tires out there, they look great but really just don't perform well unless they're on a 10k lb truck.
Not sure how they compare price wise to the milestars but my coppers...
Even a lot of the tub jobs Ive seen all seem way too light. Especially knowing most are running closer to 3.5 or 3 inch backspacing which only would make it rub worse, where Im at 4'. Most guys are only trimming the a pillar area but even If I were to beat the rest of the wheel well there's no...
