Fuck the haters
I thought that was the point, or at least one of them, for THE ENTIRE FORUM.
Fuck the haters
My favorite is when I haven’t moved at all and the damn thing, whatever it is, can’t be found. WTF? I’ve done that with other tools when on a ladder... almost hate to admit that.Every damn day

Ordered.
Even the delivery guys lose the 10mm
@eimkeith just picked one up just like this.
Mine is CVT. Easier transition for the girl. I read that as well. Watch an overhaul guy on YT repair one and it seems fairly straightforward if it ever needs it. Only a couple of clips that seem to be hard to find.
I ordered a new power steering pump and a couple of seals and I’ll start there, changing the oil pretty frequently as you described. No idea what’s in there now, but will use synthetic as called out.
I could dump a bunch a money into it replacing corroded parts, or I could just leave it alone knowing it’s for a 16yo and accept that it’s going to run into things.
It was an impulse purchase. And after getting under it and looking around, probably paid too much for it. The guy we bought it from didn’t know what he was doing, either, although he did replace brakes and tires. It is what it is now. If the girl gets to school and work, it’s worth it to me to not have to haul her around!yeah, I'd just baseline the fluids and make sure it has brakes and let her at it, lol.
sounds like a tacoma? lol you've not lived until you've taken a cab ride in TJ beetle. holy crap that's how you know you're alive... because you didn't die on the ride over.55mph downhill. At those speeds you had to downshift and open the doors to slow down, because the drum brakes weren't good for much.
