yea it does! it leaks from the mating surface of the reduction case to the transmission adapter though. so the other side where that tube is
oh - so it's leaking the reduction box oil?

maybe me, and a couple other people just got unlucky but idk. ive debated buying a trail gear adapter from trans to reduction box to fix it, but havent had the motivation.huh - now I want to take a look at my inchworm stuff and see what's up...
I've got marlin and IW, so I'll take a closer look at both.maybe me, and a couple other people just got unlucky but idk. ive debated buying a trail gear adapter from trans to reduction box to fix it, but havent had the motivation.
ive tried caring a lot, and very little when resealing it with nothing working. the last time we took it all apart, cleaned everything way more than i normally do, let dry, i always use toyota rtv, let it sit before adding oil and it still leaks. i see now that they dont list it on lowrange's website, which makes sense to me why, or i just cant find it anymore.
i can tell you that putting it on the outside like it was caulking does not work to seal it either lol

Get to it engineer!
But fix my link and shock mount problem first.
These Johnny joints are so stout they're fucking with my link mounts. Think they might be slightly twisted because I played hell hammering them into place on Saturday.
the axle side mounts?
Aye. My Johnny joints are supposed to be direct oem width . Exact same as the ones metal tech uses for their links. Mine don't fit easily. Could be from hitting them with the impact, but when I was under it the other day you can tell they're tweaked. Think my panhard upper bracket is tweaked too. Haha. I've only had this axle for like a year? Can't remember when I swapped it.
I think it was a year.
And I've only been out a few times since I did the links. Uppers look okay, but lowers look tweaked.
Damn Son!
oh it is!! ive learned to not park in my driveway, if i park in the yard i cant see the oil spot underneath the pickup, so thats like fixing it lolI've had my share and of 3rd member leaks, but that would be down right fucking annoying.
Lol how can you forget about the best forum out there? So after forgetting this forum exists for a while, and catching up on recent podcast listening I am here. I am trying to figure out the crawl box/dual case options for a tacoma that can also clock the t case. Aside from a flat belly, none of this work will get you a lower low range, correct @AssBurns ?
Yes. You can keep the frame low and still get the clearance benefit of a taller liftI believe I understand the benefit of this, but would like to hear yours. Seems like getting it farther away from the things that can whack it?
