We seem to talk about knives a lot, so let's have a dedicated thread for it instead of having it in random BS threads.
That's a nice blade. Especially with the S35VN steel. The only thing I didn't care for on that blade (by buddy had one that I used to mess with all the time) was the lockback locking. Granted their design is much smoother than a lot of other lockback knives. I just don't care for lockback knifes. I have a couple that rarely get used because of it.My collection is growing but right but right now my favorite is this Cold Stone knife I purchased randomly about a year ago.

It has stayed sharp and it is pretty slim for daily carry. Still can't beat a nice K-bar when camping.
Will look into those as I only have 3 fixed blades and the Benchmade stays in the hunting pack so I don't ever forget it. Here is the Benchmade I have which works great for field dressing and in a pinch skinning. If you want a nice camping knife, check out the brand ESEE. They have a bunch of solid blades that are made to be abused and keep on going. Lifetime, no questions asked warranty too. I love my Izula II. To me it's the perfect camping, hiking, backpacking knife. Small enough for pretty much any task, light enough to not weigh you down, and strong enough to chop wood if needed.
One of my dream fixed blades has always been the Bark River Bravo 1 with the CPM3V Steel. I like micarta scales over stag though.I’m a big fan of fixed blades.
I’m a mora fan but my
Favorite knife is my bark river CPM3 Fox River

It definitely looks really good with the stag handles. Just doesn't have the comfort or grip that canvas or linen micarta has.I like the rustic look of this one. Probably won’t hold up as well as micarta but it looks like something someone would have carried 150 years ago
Just stay off knives ship free and you’ll be okayThis thread might end up costing me money!
Same. All this talk about knives, has me thinking I need another one. Ever since I got my Izula II and 940, I haven't had a want for a new knife. They felt like the "perfect" knives for so long. Now I'm questioning how much I love them haha. This thread might end up costing me money!
Their site doesn't seem to work for me, so I think I'll be fine.Just stay off knives ship free and you’ll be okay
