That shit was nuts, definitely underestimated it and overestimated our experience/wheeling abilities.

Steering rack housing sheered in the middle before Big Sluce so I joined the Toyota fitness club and powered through without power steering.

Rear passenger axle seal blew on the way home from Tahoe, limped home with some screeching going 45 mpg on the freeway.

At this point I need a break from wrenching and wheeling. :help:

Overall, completed the Rubicon and everything else I have done seems like cake.

How the hell did you manage to break a steering rack in the middle? Did it crack or did the pressed in pieces separate?

Taking a break from wrenching and wheeling? Doubt that'll last longer than a couple days haha

That bumper turned out tits dude!

Being a complete dumbass. I was going uphill and decided to show off to my wife, didn't see the 2' rock in front and gunned it, driver side tire hit it with ton of force and bam steering wheel jumped out of my hands sharp left and I look at the steering rack and i see two halfs of the housing separated just being held by the steering rack bolts and tie rods, the actual shaft inside the rack was fine, but you're not supposed to see that if your housing is whole.

I gotta pull shit apart today and start ordering parts, I smacked my savage offroad front skid so hard that when you look at it from the front it no longer reads "Savage" but now reads "Vage", it bent the little support up on the passenger side that the skid bolts up to.

The @eimkeith bumper is stout AF, just got a couple scratches on it even with hard hits.

yup I had an electrical short on my winch negative that lit some plastic on fire. Didn’t install an inline fuse (mostly because I didn’t have time). Quickly put it out but it melted my condenser fan and caused the AC line to leak

Rubicons no joke. I’ve ran it twice now and people always talk about how easy it is. It’s not the most technical trail but it’s long and takes a toll on you and the rig. Most people never listen lol

Plus they read about me and @Tetten doing it stupid fast. It's such a fun trail next time I think I'll camp instead. Lol

Nice, been a while since I’ve seen a good split. Must of been a good I’m just going to send it.

It's not easy, and yeah it might be easy if you're SASd, locked, and on 40s+.

Damn dude! That's impressive!
I would not like to impress anyone anymore this year, thank you.
When you turn that in for a core they are going to be like WTF?
That wins for the best rack breaking of 2019.
