I'd knew it would be slow, but damn. Guess I wasn't ready for how slow it really would be; and to think that it would be slower if I regeared!

Truck is also already buttoned back up and ready for the weekend! Heading out to a trail called Slick Rock to see what this new gear is like.

Also side note; I didn't clearance the trans tunnel enough so the shifter plate for the transfer case just barely hits. I'll fix that this Winter.

Second side note; next mod to the truck will be manual hubs and a non-ADD diff tube. Trying to figure out how to rewire the front diff disconnect sucks.

Slick Rock is a pretty chill test for duals. Although I didn't really like the exit on the second optional secton with my short wheelbase rig. @Tetten cruised it in his trail limo. lol

That exactly the point! I know Slick Rock is fairly easy, is it should be a good test. I already can walk up Staircase, but the new winch hill should be fun to play around on if there isn't a shit show there.

Hopefully Rubicon in a few weeks will give me enough time to break the gears in and figure out all the bugs. Also if my dad would be give me a date for Rubicon, that would be great.

We've got a Swamp Lake trip starting a week from today. When I say we I mean me and @Tetten . Everyone else will bail because of some bullshit excuse. It's still an open invite if your interested.

Sorry man, wish I could. I'll be back at Slick Rock next weekend with a bunch of buddies. Next time.

Next time will be the Dusy. First week of October. It's going to end up being the thing this site is known for. It's also the only real trail @Mike_taco4x4 will run this year. lol

looks like a very useable speed at idle. Does it blow right through the brakes?

Short video from Slick Rock this past weekend.

Definitely not the right line that I should have taken, but the group I was with trying to get back to camp ASAP since it was getting late. I'm loving this gearing otherwise. Almost feels like I'm cheating.

I'll post some photos later when I'm not just exhausted.

Line on the left looked like it would have been easier if you guys were in a hurry to get back to camp. Haha
