OK Mike, here's your chance for redemption. We're gonna try and do all the big trails in a single year, next up is Swamp Lake. Gonna do this trail at a slower pace than we did the Rubicon, gonna camp a night or 2 on the trail and "gram" the shit out of it with video and photos. If for some reason we do it retarded fast we'll do one of the other rock crawling trails nearby as an extra.

You already know I'm in. I think @AssBurns deserves a tag for this one. It's right up his ally. Plus, if he comes, he can drive his rig home when mines on his trailer. lol

Wait, aren’t we doing swamp lake before or after Dusy this year? Should only take 2 days to do the whole trail.

Either way, if I can pull it off I’m in. I’m not likely to pull it off, but I can definitely try

I won't be be able to take the entire 9 days off for the Dusy. I'm just going to take the days off for the trail itself. I think I heard one or 2 others will likely be in the same situation.

Lame. I’ll probably have my front end cut apart at during this trip, so I’ll likely be out. I’ll see what I can pull off though

I'm probably also just doing the Dusy. Current plan in drive out Friday night. Wheel the Dusy Saturday-Tuesday. Hang out Wednesday. Then my wife drivers out Thursday and I climb with her Thursday-Saturday.

I've been climbing continuously a lot longer then I've been wheeling continuously. Courtwright has some of the best climbing in California. If my wife wants to drive out and climb that week is the best of both.

Remember that big rock on the right side about 3 miles in on the trail? That's called Locke Dome and is over 1000 feet of solid climbing. There's only 3 routes on it. I plan on putting up a new route. I can almost drive my rig right to it. I'm more excited about that then the Dusy. So not lame. Lol

Yep, that first photo is Locke Dome. There's a lot of domes at Courtwright but Locke Dome is the least visited. Hence why it holds so much appeal to me. lol
