Me and my buddy used to shoot 555 boxes every week for like $18 when we first turned 18. That shit is fun to just plink all day

Haha yeah that’s very true. That’s why I’ve never been to a gun show. It gives me anxiety just thinking about the douchers there

The best thing about gun shows are finding decent deals on hard to get calibers, custom ear protection, discount knives and seeing what’s new as far as parts. Prices tend to be better online from what I’ve seen tho

One of my favorites from my collection. Rock River LAR-8 Varmint 26" Stainless bull barrel, Chambered in 7.62/.308 Win. Heavy as all hell to hunt with but good god is it a tac driver. Claim to fame shot was a prairie dog at 686 yards.

another one I'm proud of because this entire set up is under $400. Cheapest AR I have ever thrown together. Green laser for bunny blasting. yes, hunting rabbits with a AR and a laser is the most fun you can ever have. People have mixed reviews about building a cheap AR. I set out to prove the internet wrong and yes, this one is just as reliable as my Daniel Defense. Is it as clean and smooth shooting as a piston operated gun? hell no. It's rough as all hell to shoot but still has yet to fail. Yes, I have yet to ever clean this one just to see how long you can actually let it go before it starts to act up.

Easily one of my top 5 favorites. Browning BAR Safari, Chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. That pretty much says it all. It is my go to Elk killer and 50% of my go to Coyote gun. my personal record shot was with this one gun at 2200 yards or 1 1/4 mile at a 18" gong. only took 20+ tries but I did get it 3 times in a row after I walked it out. One of my favorites becuase the 7mm is so damn violent when it hits something. I have some gnarly pictures...

I only have a few more firearms I’d like to have and then the rest are just gravy.

Problem is: the cheapest one on my list is $1100. None of them are a “need” since I have all the basics covered

Yeah if those are the benefits of gun shows, then I think I’ll keep the tradition of not going haha
I only own common calibers, use cheap ear pro, don’t buy cheap knives, and don’t care much about the latest trendy parts. I’m mostly just not that into guns much these days. I love em, but would rather be wheeling.
